Strategic Self-defense & Gunfighting Tactics

Alpha Program

The SSGT Alpha Program is designed for agencies with limited budgets but are in need of quality defensive tactics training. Although this program addresses far fewer situations than our Vanguard Program, the Alpha Program is of the same high quality in the areas it does address.
Note: The Alpha curriculum and Vanguard Level Two curriculum are identical with two exceptions. Vanguard Level Two addresses “Holstered Handgun Retention on the Ground” and “Drawn Handgun Retention on the Ground.” Therefore, officers can attend a Vanguard Level Two Instructor Course to get their Alpha Instructor Certification.
Take a look at what this program has to offer.
